Hajiya Salma Abu Rayyan Visits NTIC Training Session, Encourages Pupils Preparing for Turkish Nile Exams

Hajiya Salma Abu Rayyan, wife of the Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, paid a supervisory visit to the ongoing NTIC training session where 45 carefully selected pupils from across the council area are preparing for the Turkish Nile Exams — a visit that reflected her deep personal commitment to quality education and her genuine affection for the children of Kaduna South.
The 45 pupils in attendance represent the brightest young talents drawn from public schools across the three constituencies of Kaduna South, comprising 15 secondary school students and 30 primary school pupils. Each was carefully chosen to benefit from this special sponsorship, which offers successful candidates a transformative pathway to world-class education through the Turkish Nile scholarship programme.
Hajiya Salma came bearing more than encouragement. She arrived with refreshments for the children, a gesture of warmth and care that underscored the personal investment she and the Executive Chairman have made in the success of these young scholars. Beyond the material gesture, it was her words that left a lasting impression — warm, motivating, and rooted in a genuine belief in the potential of every child in the room. She reminded the pupils of the bright future that awaits those who remain focused, disciplined, and determined in their preparation.
Her visit served as a timely reminder to the children that they are not alone in this journey. Behind their preparation stands not just a programme or a policy, but individuals who genuinely care about their futures and are actively invested in seeing them succeed. That personal touch — a first lady taking time to sit with pupils, share a meal, and speak life into their aspirations — speaks volumes about the values that drive the Kaduna South administration's approach to youth development and education.
The council remains fully committed to ensuring that these 45 pupils are as prepared as possible for the exams ahead, and looks forward to celebrating their successes as they take their first steps toward a future full of promise and possibility.
