What We Envision
Kaduna South Local Government is a dense, dynamic market exceeding 3 million people. It is the heart of commerce, hosting heavy industries, tech hubs, and major markets. However, vast economic potential remains underutilized.
The Kaduna South Economic Summit 2026 seeks to completely overhaul our local economy. We are creating a master platform to identify gaps, ignite Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and connect local manufacturers and artisans with global investors, policymakers, and development partners.

Academia Meets Industry
Bridging the gap between the informal sector and higher education to standardize local production in places like Old and New Panteka.
The Panteka Advantage
Cross-Disciplinary Teams
We will deploy teams of ~10 undergraduate and postgraduate students from engineering, science, economics, marketing, visual design, and ICT.
Product Standardization
Each student team will be paired with selected artisans and small-scale manufacturers from Old and New Panteka. They will focus on 3 to 5 promising local products—improving quality, structural integrity, branding, and packaging.
Global Readiness
The ultimate goal of this hackathon-style pairing is to make locally engineered technologies (cooking stoves, machinery, agricultural tools) completely ready for national retail and international export to ECOWAS nations.
Integrating Next-Gen Technology
Kaduna South is already home to top tech hubs (Grey Hub, CoLab). The summit will showcase how we intend to weave Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies into our local economic fabric.
Artificial Intelligence
Exploring scalable, AI-driven applications and data dashboards to streamline SME operations, enhance agriculture yield predictions, and optimize local supply chains.
Robotics & IoT
Fusing the mechanical mastery of New Panteka with Internet of Things (IoT) sensors to create smart, locally-manufactured hardware and automated industrial processes.
Blockchain & Security
Securing digital transactions for local businesses and leveraging blockchain for transparent, trustless cross-border trade agreements within the African Continental Free Trade Area.
