Signing the Action Plan

2026 Local Government Action Plan (LGAP)

Developed through a rigorous 5-month participatory process, the Kaduna South Local Government OGP Action Plan is a citizen-driven roadmap. Engaging close to 500 citizens—including CSOs, women's groups, persons with disabilities, and traditional leaders—the co-creation process narrowed down local priorities to one high-impact commitment: Improving Healthcare Service Delivery.

Our Core Commitment

Improving Healthcare Service Delivery in Kaduna South Local Government (SDG 3 & 16)

Citizen Engagement

Launched a toll-free healthcare feedback line for reporting issues at PHCs. Established Ward Development Committees for grassroots accountability and introduced stipends for community volunteers.

Maternal & Child Health

Provided monthly delivery (Mama) kits to women to support safe deliveries. Conducted monthly nutrition activities, food demos, and expanded RUTF & MMS distribution to combat severe acute malnutrition.

Infrastructure & Access

Renovated primary health centers, deployed NYSC doctors, provided a 70% subsidy on essential drugs across 13 PHCs, and actively enrolled vulnerable residents into the KADCHMA health insurance scheme.
