Education 360:
A Revolution in Learning
Under the visionary leadership of Hon. Rayyan Hussein, and enabled by the SUSTAIN Agenda of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani (CON), Kaduna South Local Government is implementing a total overhaul of the educational ecosystem to ensure quality, equity, and dignity in our public schools.
Rebuilding the Foundation
No child should have to sit on the floor or learn in a dilapidated environment. We have launched a multi-front campaign to restore the dignity of our learning spaces.
The "100 Benches Monthly" Campaign
We are not just donating; we are saturating. The administration produces and distributes 100 high-quality desks and benches every month. By sourcing these from local artisans in the Old Panteka Market, we are simultaneously fueling the local economy and creating jobs for our skilled woodworkers.
Over 1,300+ benches distributed as of May 2026.
Ward-Based Rehabilitation
In line with Governor Uba Sani's mandate, we have aggressively pursued the comprehensive rehabilitation of basic schools. As of May 2026, over 70% of designated school projects in Kaduna South’s 13 wards have been successfully completed, transitioning dilapidated structures into modern centers of learning.

State-of-the-Art WASH Facilities
Through the Chairman’s facilitation and the Governor's support, a modern WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) facility was constructed by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources. This ensures dignified sanitation, which is critical for keeping girls in school.
Instructional Materials & Support
To ease the financial burden on parents, the Chairman—supported by philanthropists and the First Lady's oversight—regularly distributes school uniforms, reading/writing materials, and essential instructional tools across the LGA.
Quality Control & STEM Focus
Overcrowded classrooms and teacher shortages in critical subjects are being addressed through data-driven human resource management.
Targeting the 1:40 Ratio
From a staggering 1:90 ratio, our goal is to stabilize at 1:40, aligning with national standards to ensure every child receives individual attention.
Smart Teacher Redeployment
Resisting influential favors, the Chairman initiated a strict, needs-based redeployment exercise. Teachers are now distributed based on subject-need and student population.
Filling the STEM Gap via NYSC
Recognizing the shortage of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics staff, we successfully secured the deployment of NYSC members with science backgrounds.
* Hon. Rayyan Hussein was officially commended by the State NYSC Coordinator for his personal interest in corps member utilization.

The tangible results of the Education 360 Transformation.
Beyond the Classroom
The 360° model recognizes that the school environment must be preserved exclusively for learning, while talent must be nurtured in the right spaces.
Preserving Learning Spaces
To maintain the integrity of our school compounds, the administration has implemented a strict ban on football within public school premises.
Constituencies Sports Initiative
In place of school-yard games, the Chairman is providing modern local sporting facilities across the three constituencies. Our youth now have dedicated spaces to develop athletic talents without disrupting education.
Why Education 360 Matters
We are investing in education because it is the only permanent cure for poverty and insecurity. By creating a conducive environment today, we are preparing the tech founders, master-fabricators, and the leaders of tomorrow.
