The Man Behind the Vision
Roots & Education
Honourable Rayyan Hussein (RH) is a result-oriented entrepreneur, resilient administrator, and passionate community leader from Sabon Gari North Area of Unguwan Sanusi Constituency. An alumnus of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (Department of Physics), he has built decades of experience spanning leadership, real estate development, and grassroots empowerment.
Corporate Leadership
Before assuming public office, he served as Managing Director and COO of ISTROM DYNAMIC PROJECTS LIMITED, supervising over 105 completed housing units, 57 ongoing residential projects, and 151 commercial spaces. He also excelled as Head of Compliance and Manager at BRAINS & HAMMERS LIMITED, overseeing Internal Audit, Project Planning, HR, IT, and Security operations.
Raycare Foundation
A profoundly committed philanthropist, Hon. Hussein served as the visionary Founder and CEO of the RAYCARE FOUNDATION—an NGO focused on empowering women, youth, and vulnerable communities through health, education, and economic initiatives—until he officially assumed office as Executive Chairman in November 2024.
A Historic Milestone
Under his transformational administration in 2025, Kaduna South achieved historic recognition by becoming the first Local Government in Kaduna State, and the third in all of Nigeria, to join the Open Government Partnership (OGP), cementing a legacy of transparency, accountability, and citizen participation.
