Hon. Rayyan Hussain Accompanies Kaduna South Pupils to Nigerian TULIP 2026 Mathematics Competition

Published on February 8, 2026

The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, accompanied by his wife, escorted 45 carefully selected pupils from public basic schools across the council area to the Nigerian TULIP 2026 Mathematics Competition — a significant milestone in the administration's commitment to opening doors of opportunity for the brightest young minds in Kaduna South.

The 45 pupils were not selected at random. They represent the best mathematical talent identified across public basic schools throughout the local government, and ahead of the competition they received intensive extra lessons in mathematics specifically designed to sharpen their skills and build their confidence for the rigours of a national-level contest. The preparation process itself reflects the seriousness with which the council approached this opportunity — treating it not merely as a participation exercise but as a genuine pathway to life-changing outcomes for the children involved.

The stakes are considerable. Pupils who succeed in the competition will earn full scholarships to study at Nigerian TULIP throughout their primary and secondary education, with the strong possibility of progression to degree level at TULIP University in Turkey. For children from Kaduna South's public schools, many of whom come from modest backgrounds, this represents a transformative opportunity — one that could reshape not just their individual futures but the trajectories of their entire families.

Hon. Rayyan Hussain described the initiative as one clear and tangible fulfilment of the promises made during his campaign, made possible through the support and enabling leadership of His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON. It is a reminder that campaign commitments, when backed by sincere intent and purposeful governance, translate into real outcomes that touch real lives.

The Executive Chairman assured residents that this competition is just one of several educational opportunities being rolled out through his office, with more initiatives in the pipeline. His message to the people of Kaduna South was unambiguous — every child in the council area deserves a fair chance to rise through learning, and his administration will continue to open doors, nurture talent, and build a future where knowledge lifts families and entire communities to greater heights.
